S: Surroundings Assessment

Before jumping in, take this crucial first step: What’s working, what’s not. We want to pinpoint the types of clutter we have going on and get to the root cause of. Also, I want to see what is working. I want to create solutions based on how you best function naturally.

P: Preferences

We’ll get clear on what you ultimately would love to see with this space: how you want it to look, feel and function. I’ll share ideas as well.

A: Action

Based on what we discover above, I’ll create a plan of action that fits your goals, budget, timeframe, and then will jump into action.

C: Complete

Whether it’s a one day or longer term project, my goal is to bring to completion in the best way. I’ll also provide tips on how to best maintain.

E: Evaluate

In the next week or so I’ll check in to see how things are going and we can make tweaks if needed. Establishing easy routines for upkeep and making tweaks when necessary are keys to maintaining this new lifestyle you are cultivating!

What are the benefits to hiring a professional organizer?

There are so many! Your environment has such a big impact on everything else in your life. Elevating the way your spaces look, feel and function affects the way you start and end your day… and everything in between.

I am trained and have that natural ability to quickly clear out what’s not needed and organize spaces in a way that look and function optimally for you. I also have experience with products and can select options that fit your budget and preferred aesthetic.

Working with a professional organizer is an investment that will provide beautiful dividends – saving time and money, lowering stress and allowing you to focus on what matters most at home or in your business.

Where do you provide organizing services?

Currently, I provide in-person organizing in both Jacksonville, Florida and Greenville, South Carolina. I offer my SPACE Shifting package virtually (i.e., anywhere:)

Do you provide consultations?

I’m happy to do a free 20-minute virtual consultation. If you prefer in-person, you can schedule a one-hour consultation for $100, which will be deducted from the invoice when you book your session. Click here to schedule.

How much does it cost to organize a space?

Each client and space is unique. There are several factors including type of space, amount of clutter, products desired, and if additional organizers are brought in.

Investments typically start at $450 with sessions booked in six to eight hour blocks.

While I completely understand hiring a professional organizer does not fit into everyone’s budget, I like to show it as an investment. Smart organized spaces and systems will save time, money and sanity in the long run. So often I hear, “I just wish I would have done this sooner!”

Do you recommend purchasing products to organize a space?

Products make such a difference not only with styling but also in maintaining order. They can add up quickly so I like to integrate them in a smart and budget-conscious way. I’ll use what the client already has and then make additional purchases if needed.

This is another benefit of bringing in a professional organizer – knowing which products are best for you both functionally and aesthetically. Another time, money and sanity saver!

Do you handle donation / trash / recycle removal?

This is an available service charged by the hour.

How involved is the client in the organizing process?

Some clients prefer to be part of the actual organizing process (after the initial assessment) and other times they leave it to me.

Do you ever come back to reorganize / refresh spaces?

I organize spaces based on my clients natural preferences and leave them with maintenance tips to incorporate into their routines. However, I totally recognize that life can get crazy and we go through new seasons where a new set up is needed or desired. I happily offer ongoing refresh sessions when this is needed.

What type of payments do you accept?

I accept cash, check, credit / debit card and PayPal.

Are sessions confidential?

Absolutely. I keep both consultations and sessions confidential and have zero judgment. I consider myself not only an organizer but a trusted confidante during the entire process.
