New Year’s Day – one of my favorite holidays! With the exception of a few that came after “too much fun” NYEs, I love waking up to a new year that’s ready for whatever I can dream up.
And, I must say I like saying goodbye to things I want to put up.
Overall 2014 has been a good one for me but it’s definitely had its challenges: adjusting to being a single mom – and being single! + turning my passion into a (smart) business.
Thank God (literally!) and my amazing, supportive family and friends I’m ending 2014 in a pretty great place.
Also to thank: the organizing foundation I’ve put in place for myself. Without a doubt it’s kept me afloat during a very shaky time and been key in helping me design a new life. Seeing how it’s helped me through recently rocky times was hugely validating. I realized, “Wow, I’m on to something here. This really works!”
This (life saving / changing!) foundation is made of three “parts” that I’m so excited to share with you in a special Happy 2015 blog series. If getting more organized – or designing a better life – is part of your new year wishes, make sure to stay tuned.
By the end of this January you’ll be on your way to creating your very own (home + work + life) organizing foundation – one that can sustain you during hectic times and help you soar during others.
Wishing you a happy, healthy, beautiful 2015!
