my Pinterest style board

If you’re like me, you get quite a thrill finding that perfect something to wear. You may also (like me) find searching for that perfect piece can take the thrill right out of it.

This Fabulous* (FASHION) Find may be a near perfect solution for those of us wanting the style but just don’t have the time, energy and/or style savvy-ness to find it on our own.

* TBD if “fabulous”!

My sister insisted I check this out:  Stitch Fix – a virtual personal styling service that hand picks clothing and accessories based on your style, budget and needs.

There’s a $20 styling fee that can be used towards your purchase if you decide to keep one or more of the items. The stuff you don’t keep can simply be returned in the pre-paid envelope.

Stitch Fix gives you a link (here’s mine) that you can share with friends, and if they join you’ll receive a referral treat. (NOT why I’m sharing this find, btw!)

What I especially like about this process is it makes you intentionally think about the style you like or want.

No worries if you have no clue. While filling out your style profile, Stitch Fix gives you different groupings of clothing and accessories you can rate. And if you’re a Pinterest junkie, you can even share your Pinterest board link to help your Stitch Fix stylish even better create that look you’re going for. (Here’s my Pinterest STYLE board.)

Take-away TIP:  Create Pinterest boards of everything fashion – beautify – home – etc. you love. Over time these boards become great go-to’s for help developing your personal style.

Stitch Fix has become so popular that you’ll have to be patient for your Fix. Mine is arriving in about a month.
