Less stress + better results at work?  Priceless.  The best way to get this is arguably organizing the way you work and where you work.

While I’ll throw in a few “get organized” tips, the main focus today will be on the STYLE factor.

Even if you don’t have an outside job I believe we all need a (fabulous!) space to manage our home, family and life.

I’ve pulled together workspace images I love, and will share tips on bringing more style and order into your workspace:

XO: Love the clutter free, streamlined, stylish look. Great neutrals with soothing accent color. And back to the clutter free part – notice nothing (other than decorative, functional boxes) is stacked on the floor.

TIPS:  If you dream of having a clutter-free workspace but think it’s impossible, think again. It’s absolutely achievable. You just need to:

  • Optimize how your store your paper and virtual things
  • Work from an effective (not complicated!) to-do system

I’vee transformed the way my office looks and runs by doing these two things.  If you need help, I can work with you to create your best workspace. (Trust me, It’s invaluable!)  Keep reading for a special offer…

XO:  I love using my clipboard to keep me on track of things and thought this was a cool way of using and tastefully displaying.

TIPS:  Use a different clipboard for each project you’re working on. Or have one for each family member (to hold chore list, schedules, papers that need attention…)

And if you run out of space / clipboards, maybe that means you have too much on your plate! Time to re-prioritize, delegate, delete…

XO:  My surround yourself with what you love mantra can be used with anything.  Including desk accessories. Have fun finding AND using!

TIP:  Think of your ideal color schedule / style and slowly add to. Enjoy the search.

XO:  This workspace is both beautiful AND concealable.

TIP:  If you don’t have a designated room for an office, get creative! You can turn a tiny spot into a very smart AND stylish workspace.

XO:  Love this glam space and how it brings in feel good stuff:  natural light from the window, beautiful flowers, cozy and chic throw.

TIPS:  Bring nature into your workspace. I love to open windows in my office. Even if it’s hot or cold out, I’ll still slightly open a window just to get that outside feel.

Also, using monotone colors and a lucite chair helps this desk blend in beautifully to the decor.

XO:  Who wouldn’t love a view like this? While my office doesn’t overlook the water (yet), I do pay close attention to what I see while working. My desk is arranged so I have outdoor views, and typically I have flowers or a plant along with a lit candle on my desk. And 95% of the time clutter is at a minimum.

TIPS:  Think about what you’re ideal workspace would be. Use Pinterest to collect favorite images. And then make it happen – little by little OR one big overhaul.

One thing each of these images had in common:  NO CLUTTER!

Because having a great looking, UN-CLUTTERED workspace can do wonders for our:

  • focus,
  • motivation
  • creativity
  • results
